A meanwhile post
Yann Tiersen - Rue Des Cascades (1996)
So about this album.
It has nothing to do with hip-hop or anything related, Yann Tiersen is music genius who plays mainly the accordion, piano and violin.
He is a 37 years old man from France and I can personally say that he is a genius. His music is fantastic and i know how to play like 15 of his songs in piano (I'm a piano addict yes).
If your curious about what I'm talking about, check it out, maybe you'll start playing the accordion cause of him.
Really a special artist that is very particular and he is the only artist in my library of music that does this kind of music (because i just love him!). And he is only 37 years old! im expecting so much more music from him.
Oh and by the way if you saw the movie Amelie so all the music there is from Yann (unbelievable movie with unbelievable music!)

Thats it for now.....I'm OUT!

New MC Solaar album!
Here it is!
The long awaited album from MC Solaar who kind of disappeared latley, just came out 4 days ago and i have it here for you guys.
This album is purely another way of MC Solaar to get into the mainstream and already has a new single Da Vinci Claude which is a huge success in France.
Well i can't say its a bad album but some songs in it really SUCKS as others are really GREAT so its one of those albums that will be disputed for a long time but this is why internet was invented for.
So all is left to say is that this album is very different from his early ones but its still good in some ways, well better than his last one which was a lame way to get into the mainstream.
Its for you to decide if its good or not.
But in my opinion its one of the best this year and full filed my anticipations so I'm happy.

Electronic Post WOOT!
To celebrate this occasion I decided to make a totally different post, yep, an Electronic post.
Well it will only have Moby in it and the Ocean's 12 soundtrack, so don't anticipate to much.
First i'll talk about Moby.
Yes i know you've all heard him singing some shitty songs on MTV or VH1 (don't know what you have) but i guaranty you that his 2 first albums are totally different than his last one.
I was so dissapointed from his last album Hotel that i just deleted it from my library as fast as i could, its just not him!
I first discovered Moby when my parents divorced so i was going on my dad's computer alot when i was with him. He taught me about the new MP3 generation (I had one of the first MP3 players ever created) and then i just saw Moby in his library and played the song Porcelain.
At the same moment i just got in love with him.
I was the only one listening to Moby as other kids were listening to Britney Spears and shit.
Yeah back then i was 10 years old....so believe me its easy to belive that people heard that shit.
I'm still listening to those 2 first albums of his (out of 3) and never getting tired of it.
His first album is "Play" surely was his best album....and after that came "18" that was disappointing to some people but really not to me...it's still hot!
Get involved and experience some amazing music....and just get those 2 albums! even if you don't like electronic music!

I Scream Bars For Children
Bambu-I Scream Bars For Children (2007)
Guess who's back! Bambu the bracing, emotional, and oftentimes, lighthearted account of his experiences as an organizer, a nationalist, and a representative of collective struggle, from Native Guns has dropped his new album this year and to tell the truth, its not disappointing at all. This album got out on the 15th anniversary of the Los Angeles Riots at 19th April this year (along with tons of new hot albums). Criticizing never left Bambu's style and its all over the album and is nice to hear that some people care (well not about my country). An album that's worth the check, maybe you'll fall in love with it.

Take DJ Shadow, put some jazz in it and this is what you get
Arts The Beatdoctor-Transitions (2007)
Ok so i heard the compilation that i was supposed to be posting and it isn't that great except from the good stuff like The Brand New Heavies, Incognito, St. Germain etc'. So I think ill take the huge compilation and make it a small compilation so that only good stuff will get threw your hears! or ill post everything and you'll make the choice. Well that depends on your comments (if there are gonna be any) or on my mood :).
This is something that i got from Rapdungeon (the site which changed my life, I'm serious)that caught my eyes as i realized that Pete Philly is featuring in it and also that it came from the same label company as Pete Philly and Perquisite.
As the title said, its a mixture of DJ shadow's Entroducing... and some pretty good jazz plus some hip-hop in the side in some songs. And as you know I'm a big fun of good Jazz/Hip-Hop, and this is surely one of the best i heard so far. So give it a look if your a jazz/hip-hop fan and even if your not your obligated to check it out, you wont be disappointed!

Like Water For Chocolate
Its a while i didn't post anything because im really busy some here is something to occupie all of the newcomers to hip-hop, my favorite Common album.
I can say that there isn't one song you can hate in the album because of the great flow and the beats are really smooth and very pleasant to hear.
It was my first Common album and it was one of the albums that made me realize that 50 cent is shit (yes i was those who heard this crap because i was unacknowledged about hip-hop).
So enjoy this fine album until ill post a huge compilation of Acid Jazz stuff so keep your self up!

Jay Dila + Madlib = one of the best albums ever!
Champion Sound-Jaylib (2003)
Ok, first of all it's gonna be rare for me to post stuff one day after the other because i believe that too much albums to handle each day won't give you the chance to appreciate the album and give it your full attention. This is why my library isn't growing very fast. Before the internet, people would have bought one album each time right? so why can't it be now? i know people having thousands of songs that half of it they don't even know they have it.
But now after finishing my final history test, i have the mood to put another post about one of the most underrated albums in my opinion.
I'm sure everyone will say "WTF are you talking about? everyone knows this album bla bla bla" but not everyone appreciate it the way we should appreciate it. Even if it was an accident the way Jaylib was formed, this album is a masterpiece in my opinion. Very particular sound if you hear the beats, something you don't hear everyday.
If you don't have this album and you don't know what im talking about just pick this one up or go and buy it (the re-issue is coming out in 12 june), cause it's exactly what i would have done if i could have found it here (again, you can't find shit in Israel related to hip-hop).

St. Germain Part 2
The first album is the one i bought an di ripped it in good quality because its the only way to hear this album (the basses will burn your speakers out) and the second is for my buddy "What It Is" from Tree Beats (great blog BTW you should go and check it out), this album is really something different but when i say it different i mean it has a HUUGGE difference than the 2 others album but HUUGGEE, well let's say in the simple words, its more electronic and less jazz (it's still jazzy guys!), but because I'm very open to stuff i heard this album from the beginning to the end and let me tell you,it's not bad but pretty good. It's all the tracks written and produced by St Germain at The Magic House Studio between 1992 and 1996, so enjoy those two albums and comment if you feel generous :) I'm out!

St. Germain
The story behind how i found this artist is kinda amazing.
7 years ago i went to the barbershop to get a cut and suddenly as i came in i heard some great drums playing, and then i remember the sax getting in slowly and then some piano that started playing, everything was all new to me.
Just so you know i was damn little and i was listening all day to all the pop artists (as most of the kids today) so it was a refreshing breeze of air for me.
I told my mother to ask the barber what it is, and then i went to the shop and bought the CD.
With my stupidity i couldnt find the CD anywhere but u have here his newest album.
Everyone will say it's lounge music but as he says and also me, its too beaty for lounge music so i like to call it "Electronic Jazz".
I recommand everyone to try this and to get into some realy amazing music.

Pete Philly & Perquisite
Talib Kweli said that they are the next thing in hip-hop music and let me tell you
i agree with him.
They make jazzy hip-hop , but their style is something fresh, something you don't hear everyday....they use microwave sound samples in their songs!! how crazy is that?!
Just check out those two albums...the first is their debut and the second is the same album just remixed with some of the greatest DJ's out there.
If i could i would have bought those two (but in israel you can't find shit related in hip-hop), i swear to you guys you won' be dissapointed!

MC Solaar
My first encounter with MC Solaar was as a little kid when i lived in france. He got me into listening hip-hop, this album was my treasure, my dad bought it accidently for me cause he thought that it was pop music lol. Now that im grown up, after loosing this CD somewhere, i realised he was a legend in france. This album sold 100,000 copies in the first week after it was released and defenetly was his best album (even now after 4 releases of his). Just enjoy one of my favorite rappers.

Muhaha! Im making a nucler bomb!
Breaking Atoms (Reissue)-Main Source (1997)
Breaking Atoms was the debut album of Main Source. It is widely thought of as a very influential album and is notable for the debut of hip hop superstar Nas. It is also highly regarded thanks to the virtuoso production of frontman Large Professor, whose heavy, and original, use of sampling influenced hip-hop producers for a good portion of the '90s.
It was re-released by Large Professor and Wild Pitch Records overseas in 1997 with eight bonus tracks. This is one of the best Jazz/Hip-Hop album ever released and im sure most of you all have it but still i wanna to post it:
1 Snake Eyes
2 Just Hangin Out
3 Looking At The Front Door
4 Large Professor
5 Just A Friendly Game Of Baseball
